Bouncing Baby Boy

I finally got this scanned today -- it's the most recent ultrasound from about 2 weeks ago. At this structural ultrasound appointment, I was told that our baby's appendages, spine and organs are are looking great, there's no water collecting on his brain and he certainly doesn't have spinabifida -- or, in other words, he's "perfect," according to the doctor. He's been bouncing around quite a bit lately and is making his mommy very tired and thirsty. He says he's looking forward to hearing Paris and his cousin Claudia in a week.

Live Action: Bouncing Baby Girl

Big Birthday Bouncer

Sloane went to Chloe's 3rd Birthday on Saturday and had a SUPER FUN time!!! Several of the day care cuties were there and they bounced their brains out. I was a little surprised that Sloane never once got upset getting knocked down and bounced around -- she was laughing her head off most of the time. What a great sport! She's also quite the little dare devil for her 1 1/2 years. The slide had to be about 5 times her height and she scaled the ladder and slid down without too much prompting (and a little help from her friends). Happy Birthday Chloe!!!

Linda and Jimmy's Housewarming

It was an official West Coast Columbia Crew reunion at Linda and Jimmy's on Sunday night. Always so overdue and always so great to see everyone!! Sloane was especially taken by a few of the gentlemen at the party, especially the bespeckled Farshad. (and, I think he may have developed a bit of a crush on her too!)

Friday the 13th: Daycare Shenanigans

I picked up Sloane early from daycare on Friday and stumbled upon the little ones getting up from naptime. So cute!!! Sloane was dazed for the first minute she saw me, then gave me a big hug and cuddled on my lap for a few minutes while she woke up. It was really cute how happy and surprised she was to see me. I hung out for a bit after they all woke up, through Sloane's "play with baby Ella" time and a snack. Those kids are really adorable, aren't they?

Houdini She Ain't

Here's Sloane being adorable per usual, finding a way to make herself even more "secure" in her carseat.

To those of you who have missed our posts of late, rest assured. No news is good news. We've been pretty tired (work, Sloane, work, Sloane, Dizzy, House, Sloane, work, sick, pregnant, etc. etc.), but should be returning to our former glory soon. House is almost done, so we'll have pix of the new stuff soon. We'll have some more ultra sound pix of the little-man-to-be-named-later, growing away as I type - as well as an update on his progress. For now, probably sufficient to note that he is "perfect," which I think is an official medical term because that's what the doctor said. Also, we're headed to Paris in two and a half weeks, so certainly there will be a gazillion fun pictures from that excursion. Stay tuned!
