Basement: Before and After

It feels like years since we started the basement remodel project, but I guess it's "only" been about six months. The next step will be to install baby gates in every square inch, but I figured I'd post the before and after shots while the basement still reflects the "vision."

1 Year Check-Up

Sloane had her one-year check-up yesterday and she's doing great! Her iron levels are back up to normal and her weight is down (proportionally). Doc said she's going to get lots of dates, and needless to say, that made Dan a little uncomfortable.
Her stats: weight = 22 pounds, 6 oz.; length = 30 1/2 inches; head circumference = 19 1/4 inches. The percentiles are approximately: weight = 68th; height = 85th and head = 97th (according to about.com).

Staying Informed

She's one now. She realizes she has to start taking the election issues seriously. Iraq starts to fix itself!? Obama distances himself from Scarlet Johansson?! Jake and Reese move in together?! You don't say! I'm going to get on my little yellow rotary phone and gab with the gals about this stuff.
