Sloane's First Movie

On Friday, Sloane went to her first movie (not including the mommy and me movies when she slept through them at about 1 month old) -- Monsters vs. Aliens -- on the Paramount lot no less! She was very brave and didn't cry at all through the opening sequence (which unfortunately got many of the toddlers upset and taken out of the theater). It might have helped that she was the only one that had her mommy there to cuddle her and explain that the very loud asteroids and aliens were exciting and not scary. Still, as expected, she didn't really want to sit still and be quiet for more than about 15 minutes. At that point, she started to run up and down the aisles, yelling "Mommy!" and laughing, so needless to say, we had to depart. It was still fun! And, she got a free poster and stuffed Insectasaurus from Paramount. Cool!
